The brand WASB – When A Sneaker Becomes was founded in 2020 from the new business course of one of the excellences of Italian leather goods, with the aim of harmoniously blending the uncompromising quality of tradition with the search for new styles. Carefully selected colourful leather, new sneaker-inspired materials, couture seams make WASB bags real objects of desire. Bags with a contemporary design are constructed following the traditional techniques of Italian master leatherworkers. The brand identity is based on clearly defined principles: ethics, family and production values, high end results and care for human resources as a real asset are the salient features of this 100% made-in-Italy brand. Direct control of the supply chain, from the design department to design, construction and quality control, lead to the creation of a product with a contemporary design and high craftsmanship.

CONCEPT

The Wasb SS22 collection is a perfect “manifesto” for the woman who follows changes in society (fast and practical, for lovers of smart working), pursues trends (the line is inspired by the docufilm ‘Sneakerheadz’, on the explosive influence of sneakers in pop culture) loves “made in Italy” (only excellent Italian manufactured goods) and goes crazy for design forms (the iconic shopping bag is a mix of materials and processing techniques). The DNA of brand inspires the materials of the collection: calfskin, technical mesh fabric and 24 colorful rubber blocks. The bright and funny colors make up a collection whose palette is a real hymn to rebirth: bright yellow, deep blue, emerald green, fuchsia, pink, orange, white and the inevitable black.
