27 years old, Antonio Pondini grew up in Santa Sofia, a small town in the Tuscany Apennines. He demonstrates an eclectic character that leads him to follow different paths during his background. He moved to Milan, enrolled in architecture, graduated in engineering and completed his studies with a master’s degree in Suistanability, Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Barcelona and Stockholm. Antonio demonstrated from an early age a passion for the study and research of textile materials and more generally of clothing. He begins to create his first clothes during his university studies by selling them to friends. After a work experience as a start-up consultant at the Politecnico di Milano, in 2020 he decided to try his hand at a project in which his multidisciplinary background and his vision of sustainable development, his passion for the world of fashion and its link with the reality in which he grew up could converge. Thus, Vescovo was born.

The collection stemmed from the idea of elevating the brand through its peculiarities, such as pastel colors, oversize fits and the use of innovative materials. More than half of the SS22 garments are made of materials containing recycled and organic fibers or from deadstock materials.
