Maison Luigi Borbone was founded in 2012 by couturier Luigi Borbone, heir to the true know-how of Italian artisanal fashion of the 1950s, which he learned from his grandmother, first a mannequin for the Fontana sisters and then a chief seamstress for dressmaker Emilio Schuberth. Maison Luigi Borbone combines tradition and innovation, which is necessary for a creative industry that builds a sense of beauty. The lines include Haute Couture and women’s prêt-à-porter, accessories (bags, small leather goods, scarves, ties) and high jewellery. A contemporary aesthetic vision and excellent workmanship are the guidelines for the industrial process and for the manual and artisanal processes, which are carried out in the atelier on Via Claudia in Rome, where Haute Couture is designed and made in the “Bottega Couture”.

An instinctive and sophisticated, romantic collection, capable of orchestrating the sartorial essence of Luigi Borbone’s vision maintaining the emotional liveliness, while being effectively tuned to the rhythm of today’s intense rhythm. Shirts in lace, taffeta, crepe, organza and silk georgette, couture fabrics, are reworked with a more palpable “human” touch. Trousers with a feminine – masculine line, which can make her share with him thanks to the shapes, volumes and fabrics: palazzo, zuvava and geometric linen trousers. Progressing from linear, almost minimal looks, the collection flows into ethereal evening options that have become synonymous with the designer’s style; here the sophisticated shapes of caftans and cape dresses are designed with fluid and efficient precision. Many women not just one, many elegant, refined, ironic, childish and super sensual souls. A mix of precious contemporaneity thanks to the use of precious swarovski nets, object of desire of all women who wear Maison Luigi Borbone.
