Roberta Fontana is the founder and designer of 107 GIOIELLI®. Born in Milan, she graduated in management engineering from the Politecnico di Milano university. After ten years of experience in multinational companies, she decided to abandon her corporate career and to devote herself to her passion for jewellery. She discovered the ancient lost-wax casting technique for the creation of handmade jewellery, and she founded her own brand with a glamorous-chic flavour. Her jewels are all handmade in Italy using the ancient goldsmith’s technique of lost-wax casting. The jewels are made of brass and bronze, which are then gold-plated. The main gems used by Roberta Fontana are natural semi-precious stones, which give her jewels a special light.
The collection, made up of 4 lines – Leaves, Iris, Chain and Grace – draws inspiration from the elements of nature, from interior design and from geometric shapes. The jewels are handmade with the ancient lost wax technique, in brass and bronze with semiprecious stones or zircons.
